I am Achiro Olivia Achen. I am 21 years old and live in Kampala, Uganda. I lost both hands and one arm in a bus accident in 2012. I was 8 years old at the time and was traveling with my family. No one in my family was fatally injured in the accident. I was given a prosthetic hand, which I slowly used to practice writing and drawing. I loved drawing and improved every day. I want to show the world that a disability does not necessarily lead to failure and inability. It makes me feel happy that many people really appreciate what I can draw without functioning hands.
